Remote Deposit Capture

Now, as a Service First member, you have the ability to deposit checks into your Share Draft account remotely with your smartphone!

In order to access this feature, you will need a smartphone with a camera, and the Service First FCU mobile app.

First, login to the Service First FCU mobile app on your smartphone. You will notice a “Deposits” icon at the bottom of the screen. Press this icon to initiate a remote deposit.

On the next screen, you may choose to create a new deposit or view deposit history:


After selecting “New Deposit”, you will be asked to select the Share Draft (Checking) account that you would like the check to be deposited in. You will also be asked to enter the dollar amount of the check:


Lastly, you will be asked to take a photo of the front and the back of the check. For a check to be accepted through Mobile Deposit, all payees must sign the back of the check and write “For Mobile Deposit Only” underneath the signature or check “Check Here If Mobile Deposit” box on the back of the check.


After confirming, your Remote Deposit will be sent to Service First and will be deposited into your account after processing. Please note Remote Deposits submitted and approved by 2:30 p.m. CT will be available same day after 5:30 p.m. CT.   If the Remote Deposit is submitted or approved of after 2:45 p.m. CT the funds will be available the next business day after 5:30 p.m. CT.  Please retain check 5 days after deposit.   Saturdays, Sundays and Holidays are not counted as business days.  Please contact us at 605-336-1047 if you have any questions.
