March 12, 2021

President Biden signed the American Rescue Plan Act of 2021 into law on March 11, 2021. This means a third stimulus payment is on the way for those who are eligible.

When will I receive my payment?
White House Press Secretary Jen Psaki said that the first wave of payments could be sent as early as the March 13-14 weekend, with more payments in the following weeks. We expect that electronic stimulus payments will be available in eligible Service First accounts as soon as Wednesday, March 17, 2021. In a few days, you can check the status of your payment at IRS.gov/GetMyPayment.

How will I receive my payment?
Payments will be distributed automatically, with no action required for eligible individuals. If the refund from your 2019 or 2020 tax return was direct deposited, the IRS will send your payment to that same bank account. If you did not receive your tax refund by direct deposit, your payment will be mailed to the address listed on your tax filing.

Please note, we expect increased traffic to our Online Banking, Mobile App, and phone lines due to the delivery of the payments. You may experience delays when trying to access your account or calling us.

How will I receive my payment?
This second round of payments will be distributed automatically, with no action required for eligible individuals. If the refund from your 2019 (or 2018 if you did not file in 2019) tax return was direct deposited, the IRS will send your payment to that same bank account. If you did not receive your tax refund by direct deposit, your payment will be mailed to the address listed on your tax filing.

What if additional legislation is enacted?
If additional legislation is enacted to provide for an increased amount, Economic Impact Payments that have been issued will be topped up as quickly as possible.
